How to order research peptides from Botswana
Step-by-step: ordering laboratory research compounds from South Africa to Botswana — delivery times, the courier fee, 14% import VAT, paying by Bitcoin or bank transfer, and what we can and can't ship.
The short version
Add in-stock research compounds to your cart, choose Botswana as the delivery country at checkout, pay by Bitcoin (5% off) or cross-border bank transfer, and we dispatch from Johannesburg. Delivery is 3–6 working days to Gaborone (estimate); customs clearance at the border can add a day or two.
Step by step
1. Choose your compounds
Browse the shop and add what you need. Products that can't be shipped to Botswana are marked and can't be checked out to a Botswana address.
2. Select Botswana at checkout
Pick Botswana as the delivery country and enter your address the way your courier expects it (region, town, street; Botswana has no postcodes). Use a phone number the courier can call.
3. See the full price before you pay
The checkout shows the goods, the cross-border courier fee and a note on import VAT, which the courier collects on delivery — no surprises at the door.
4. Pay
Bitcoin is the simplest cross-border option: 5% off, one QR code, confirmed automatically. You can also pay by bank transfer from a Botswana bank in rand; Botswana banks can pay a South African account by international transfer (SWIFT); fees and the pula–rand rate are set by your bank, and it can take 1–3 working days. Bitcoin avoids both.
5. Track it
The tracking link is emailed the moment the waybill is created in Johannesburg, and covers the whole journey across the border.
What we ship to Botswana
Peptide research vials, ready-built stacks, multipacks, blends, BAC water and accessories — everything on our Botswana page. For now we do not ship GLP-1 compounds, anabolic or hormone lines, or melanotan across borders while we establish compliant import routes. All products are supplied strictly for laboratory research.
Customs, VAT and currency
South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Lesotho and Eswatini form the Southern African Customs Union (SACU): goods moving between members are normally free of customs duty, but every parcel still crosses a border post with a customs declaration and the importing country charges its own import VAT.
Botswana Unified Revenue Service (BURS) charges import VAT at 14%. Import VAT is charged at the border on the customs value of the goods; couriers usually pay it on your behalf and collect it on delivery. Botswana's VAT Act, 2026 commenced on 1 July 2026 — check BURS for the current rate before you order.
Botswana uses the pula, which floats against the rand. Our prices are in rand; your bank or Bitcoin wallet converts at the day's rate.
Route and timing
Gaborone, Lobatse and Molepolole are served via Tlokweng/Kopfontein or Pioneer Gate/Skilpadshek; Francistown and the north via Martin's Drift/Groblersbrug.
Typical delivery: 3–6 working days to Gaborone (estimate) after dispatch. Orders paid before 12:00 SAST on a weekday are usually dispatched the same day.
