Which peptides are studied for fat loss?
Two groups. The incretin compounds — Retatrutide (a GLP-1/GIP/glucagon triple agonist) and Tirzepatide (a GIP/GLP-1 dual agonist) — are the most heavily studied in recent body-composition literature. Alongside them, AOD-9604 and Fragment 176-191 (GH-fragment compounds), MOTS-c and 5-Amino-1MQ for fat-metabolism pathways, and Tesamorelin. All are supplied strictly for research purposes only.
What is the difference between the two groups?
Mechanism. The incretin compounds act on appetite- and glucose-regulating receptor pathways; the GH-fragment and mitochondrial compounds are studied through fat-oxidation and cellular-energy pathways instead. They are not interchangeable and the literature on each is at a different stage. Evidence is preliminary throughout.
