Zepbound® vs Research Tirzepatide — What Is the Difference?
Zepbound® and Mounjaro® are both Eli Lilly medicines containing tirzepatide. Neither is what we supply, and the difference is the whole point of this page.
WHAT WE DO NOT SUPPLY
We do not sell Zepbound®, Mounjaro® or any prescription medicine, and we are not a pharmacy. Our tirzepatide is an unregistered research compound for laboratory use only — not for human or veterinary use, and not registered with SAHPRA.
Zepbound® is Eli Lilly’s registered prescription medicine containing tirzepatide, a dual GIP/GLP-1 receptor agonist, approved in some markets for a different indication from Mounjaro®. Registration and availability differ by country; in South Africa a registered medicine is obtained only through a healthcare provider and a licensed pharmacy.
A registered medicine comes with a regulatory dossier, a package insert, pharmaceutical manufacturing controls and a prescriber. A research compound has none of those, because it is a laboratory reagent. That stays true whatever the label says and whoever sells it.
What we supply is tirzepatide as an unregistered research vial (30 mg) with an independent Janoshik Analytical report: 99.927% HPLC purity, verifiable with the lab. It is not Zepbound®, not a substitute for it, and not for use in a person.

Questions
Do you sell Zepbound®?
No. Zepbound® is Eli Lilly’s registered prescription medicine and we are not a pharmacy.
What is the difference between Zepbound® and Mounjaro®?
Both are Eli Lilly medicines containing tirzepatide, registered for different indications in the markets where each is approved. Only a clinician can advise on either.
Is research tirzepatide the same as Zepbound®?
No. A shared molecule name is not shared quality system, registration or legal status. Ours is a laboratory research compound and may not be used in a person.
