Why "cold chain" is less fragile than it sounds for peptides
For genuinely frozen biologics, a broken cold chain can ruin a shipment. Lyophilised research peptides are different: the freeze-drying that removes water also removes the main driver of degradation, so a day or two of normal transit temperature is well within tolerance.
That does not make packaging pointless — insulation and prompt weekday dispatch still reduce cumulative stress and protect against extremes. But it does mean a parcel that arrives at ambient temperature after a short transit is normal and expected, not a cause for alarm. Your job on arrival is simply to restore cold storage promptly.
