Peptide Bioregulator

Very short peptides proposed to act tissue-specifically on gene expression — the basis of the longevity bioregulator research.
Peptide bioregulators are very short peptides (often di-, tri- or tetrapeptides) proposed to regulate gene expression in a tissue-specific manner — the idea being that a given short sequence "belongs" to a particular tissue and helps normalise its function.
The concept comes largely from Russian gerontology research (associated with Khavinson) and underpins the longevity study of Epitalon (pineal) and Pinealon (brain), among others.
It is an active and still-developing research area; bioregulators are supplied strictly for research purposes.
