Independent laboratory verification of identity and purity — testing not done by the seller, for unbiased confidence.
Third-party testing means a sample’s identity and purity are analysed by an independent laboratory rather than only by the party selling it. The independence is the point: results are not marking their own homework.
For research peptides this typically means independent HPLC and mass-spectrometry analysis reported on a batch-specific Certificate of Analysis. It is the strongest form of the trust the CoA is meant to provide.
