Exenatide (Byetta®) was the first GLP-1 receptor agonist medicine, derived from a peptide found in Gila monster saliva and given twice daily. Liraglutide followed as a once-daily injection — Victoza® and Saxenda® are two Novo Nordisk brands of it at different strengths for different approved uses. Dulaglutide (Trulicity®, Eli Lilly) moved the class to once-weekly dosing by fusing the peptide to a larger protein to extend its half-life.
The direction of travel since then has been longer action and more receptors: semaglutide refined the single-receptor GLP-1 agonist, tirzepatide added the GIP receptor, and molecules such as retatrutide add the glucagon receptor as well. Each of these is a distinct molecule, not a newer version of the same product.

Questions
Do you sell Saxenda® or liraglutide?
No. Saxenda® and Victoza® are Novo Nordisk medicines containing liraglutide. We do not stock liraglutide in any form.
How is liraglutide different from semaglutide?
Both are GLP-1 receptor agonists, but they are different molecules with different durations of action — liraglutide is given daily, semaglutide weekly.
What do you supply?
