Sermorelin

Also known as: GHRH(1-29) · GRF 1-29

A GHRH(1-29) fragment — the shortest sequence of GHRH that retains activity — studied for endogenous growth-hormone release.

Sermorelin is a truncated analog of GHRH consisting of its first 29 amino acids (GHRH 1-29), the shortest fragment that still fully activates the GHRH receptor. It stimulates the pituitary to release the body’s own growth hormone.

It is one of the longest-studied GHRH analogs and often serves as a reference secretagogue in research. Like Tesamorelin and CJC-1295 it belongs to the GHRH-analog branch of the GH axis, distinct from the ghrelin-receptor GHRPs.
